Developmental Screening Support
for Families
All children in the School Readiness program must have a developmental screening every year. This is true for those between 6 weeks and 5 years old. This screening helps track their growth and learning progress. It also helps us know when there is a need for more support.
We use the Ages & Stages Questionnaires®, Third Edition (ASQ®-3) and the Ages & Stages Questionnaires®: Social-Emotional, Second Edition (ASQ®:SE-2).
The screening tools show how kids are doing in five key areas: communication, big movements, small movements, how they solve problems, and how they get along with others. The tools are easy to use. They can be done by parents.
Every family has their own Family Portal. They use it to complete screenings for their child.
If you have questions or need help completing the developmental screening, call us at 321-219-6300. We will be happy to help.
